OVERVIEW
Salt spray testing is an accelerated corrosion test that produces a corrosive attack to coated samples in order to evaluate (mostly comparatively) the suitability of the coating for use as a protective finish. The appearance of corrosion products (rust or other oxides) is evaluated after a pre-determined period of time. Test duration depends on the corrosion resistance of the coating; generally, the more corrosion resistant the coating is, the longer the period of testing before the appearance of corrosion or rust.
Salt spray test chamber is used to test the anti-corrosion quality of all the materials surfaces of painting, coating, electroplating in condition of salt spray environment. Basic salt spray test chambers capacity available in 108L, 270L, 480L, 800L, 1440L capacity.
FEATURES
1. Corrosion-resistant PVC plastic sheet;
2. The water-tight form prevents the salt spray from overflowing;
3. The top cover of the smoke box is designed with a top angle of 110~112°, so that the condensed water in the box does not directly drip on the test product;
4. The spray method is tower spray;
5. The material of the nozzle is made of quartz glass. The spray material of the nozzle is small, and the salt spray is distributed evenly by natural settlement;
6. The control instruments are all on the same panel, which is easy to operate and clear at a glance;
7. The automatic/manual water filling system is adopted, which has the function of automatically replenishing the water level when the water level is insufficient.
8. The timer adopts digital display, timing is accurate, and any required test time can be set in sections. The adjustable time range is from 0.01 second to 9999 hours;
9. Over temperature alarm.
